8 months, 7 cycles, countless OPKs, HPTs, & Vitamins.....still TTC #1!!

If I knew what a journey trying to conceive was going to be, I might have done my research first!!

Im Fiona. Im a 28 year old, married, housewife (though not by choice!!) I live with M, my darling husband in the West of Ireland & we have been trying to conceive our first child since we married last December.
I guess you could say I wasn't very clued in on the whole TTC thing, I assumed that as long as I tracked my cycles & knew when I ovulated then we would soon be announcing our first pregnancy! I mean we are a healthy, sporty couple in their 20's, with no illnesses or anything. No history of infertility in either family (in fact the women in my family are very fertile) Nothing that would have given us any indication that we wouldn't be pregnant in the early part of 2011! How wrong I was!

So Ive started this blog to chat about my TTC journey & all the weird & wonderful things I have learnt along the way....like softcups!! (post to follow!) I hope you will join me, enjoy my ramblings, learn something & maybe pass along some of your own knowledge!!

For now, its off to bed with me as we are still in our fertile window....hoping to catch the egg!!
